In this 2-part, 5-hour series, we'll explore the anatomy and structure of your shoulders and how daily habits can lead to discomfort and sometimes injury. You'll learn how the ribcage and spine contribute to healthy shoulder movement, and use your deepened anatomy knowledge experientially to improve your shoulder mobility and function. Progressive practices in myofascial release, resistance-band strengthening, and mobility work will be offered in a scaffolded manner, filling your self-care toolbox with simple practices to support your continued progress at home.
All props for this class series are provided. To support your progress, two 30-minute recorded practice videos will be provided following each class for you to work on at home during the weeks between our in-studio workshops.
